The crappy British winter was really starting to get on my nerves, until this week, when a couple of sunny mornings and crocuses in my front garden heralded spring. You know what that means? SUMMER! This year’s extra special, my little man turns 2 and I intend to take him on a proper British day out to the seaside – bucket, spade, fish and chips on a bench and a few goes in the choo choo train on a baby fairground ride.
That’s why I love Jigsaw’s new Junior collection for summer – stylish to wear, but easy to explore and pretend to be pirates in AND, most importantly, the look book features a quintessentially British pebbled beach. While Jigsaw may not do boyswear (yet, I hope?!?). This is fuss-free stylish clothes for girls at it’s best. Cotton summer dresses, relaxed tees, faded prints with flashes of crayon brights, perfect stripes, chunky knits and easy denim. Prices start at £15 for a Slouchy Tee up to £59 for a Pastel Glitter Dress from age 2-15.
